🧱 Filter Media Setup (Recommended Order)

  1. Coarse Sponge (mechanical – traps dirt, waste, debris)

  2. Activated Carbon (chemical – removes odor, toxins, discoloration)

  3. Ceramic Rings / Bio-balls (biological – houses beneficial bacteria)

  4. Fine Filter Wool (optional) – for polishing water to crystal-clear finish

👉 For shrimp or fry tanks, add a sponge pre-filter on the intake to prevent sucking them in.

🔧 How to Install

  1. Hang the filter on the back/side of the aquarium.

  2. Attach inlet pipe with surface skimmer and connect spray bar or nozzle outlet.

  3. Fill filter chamber with tank water (for easy priming).

  4. Plug in and switch ON – water will start circulating.

  5. Adjust flow rate as needed.

🧼 Maintenance

  • Clean sponge every 2–3 weeks in tank water (never under tap water).

  • Replace activated carbon every 4–6 weeks if used.

  • Rinse ceramic rings gently when clogged but never replace all at once.

  • Check skimmer and spray bar for blockages.
