🧱 Filter Media Setup (Recommended Order)

  1. Coarse sponge (mechanical filtration)

  2. Fine sponge / ceramic rings (biological filtration)

  3. Activated carbon (optional – odor & clarity)

  4. Bio-balls / ceramic rings (boost biological performance)

  5. Filter wool (optional – polishing water)

👉 Always place UV sterilizer on when water is clear for best results (avoid cloudy water blocking UV efficiency).

🔧 How to Install

  1. Hang the filter on the side or back of your aquarium.

  2. Insert the inlet pipe and attach the surface skimmer (if required).

  3. Place chosen filter media inside the chamber.

  4. Fill the chamber with some tank water (for easy priming).

  5. Plug in and switch ON – adjust flow rate as needed.

🧼 Maintenance

  • Clean sponge every 2–3 weeks in tank water.

  • Replace carbon/media as required (every 4–6 weeks).

  • Rinse bio-media gently, do not replace all at once.

  • Clean inlet, skimmer, and UV chamber regularly.

  • UV bulb may need replacement every 6–12 months for effectiveness.
