🧱 Filter Media Setup (Recommended Order)

  1. Coarse sponge (mechanical)

  2. Fine sponge / cartridge (basic biological)

  3. Activated carbon (odor & water polishing)

  4. Ceramic rings / bio-balls (biological boost)

  5. Fine filter wool (optional for crystal-clear water)

👉 Add a sponge pre-filter on the intake if keeping shrimp.

🔧 How to Install

  1. Hang the filter on the back/side of the tank.

  2. Attach the inlet pipe with surface skimmer inside the water.

  3. Fill filter box with a little tank water for easy priming.

  4. Plug in and switch ON – adjust flow rate as needed.

🧼 Maintenance

  • Rinse sponge every 2–3 weeks in tank water (not tap water).

  • Replace activated carbon every 3–4 weeks if used.

  • Clean impeller & surface skimmer regularly.

  • Never wash all bio-media at once – keep beneficial bacteria intact.
