🧱 Filter Media Setup (Recommended Order)

  1. Coarse sponge (mechanical)

  2. Fine sponge / cartridge (basic biological + carbon option)

  3. Ceramic rings / bio-balls (boost biological filtration)

  4. Fine filter wool (optional – for polishing water)

👉 For shrimp tanks, add a sponge pre-filter to the intake pipe.

🔧 How to Install

  1. Hang the filter on the back/side of the aquarium.

  2. Place the inlet pipe into the water.

  3. Fill the filter chamber with a little tank water (helps priming).

  4. Plug in and switch ON – water starts flowing automatically.

  5. Adjust flow knob to suit your fish.

🧼 Maintenance

  • Rinse sponge every 2–3 weeks in tank water.

  • Replace cartridge when it loses effectiveness.

  • Clean inlet pipe if flow reduces.

  • Never wash bio-media with tap water.
