🧱 Filter Media Setup (Recommended Order)

  1. Coarse sponge (traps debris & mechanical waste)

  2. Fine sponge (extra mechanical & basic bio)

  3. Ceramic rings / bio-balls (boost biological bacteria growth)

  4. Activated carbon (optional – odor, toxins, water polishing)

  5. Fine filter wool (optional – crystal-clear finish)

🔧 How to Install

  1. Attach the power head pump inside the aquarium.

  2. Connect the outlet pipe to the top filter box.

  3. Place filter media inside the top filter chamber.

  4. Fill box with a little tank water (helps priming).

  5. Switch ON the power head – water will circulate upwards and flow back evenly into the tank.

  6. Adjust flow to suit fish and plants.

🧼 Maintenance

  • Rinse sponge every 2–3 weeks in tank water (not tap water).

  • Replace sponge if degraded.

  • Clean ceramic rings/bio-balls gently when clogged, but never replace all at once.

  • Wipe power head impeller and pipes monthly to prevent clogging.
