🧱 Filter Media Setup (Recommended Order)

  1. Sponge (mechanical + bio base)

  2. Activated carbon cartridge (chemical filtration)

  3. Optional add-ons: ceramic rings in a small mesh bag / filter wool for polishing

👉 For shrimp tanks, add a sponge pre-filter on the intake.

🔧 How to Install

  1. Hang the filter on the back/side of the aquarium.

  2. Attach the inlet tube inside the water.

  3. Fill the filter chamber with some tank water (helps priming).

  4. Plug in and switch ON – water will start flowing.

  5. Adjust flow to match your fish needs.

🧼 Maintenance

  • Rinse sponge every 2–3 weeks in tank water.

  • Replace activated carbon cartridge every 3–4 weeks for best performance.

  • Clean impeller & inlet pipe monthly to avoid clogging.

  • Do not wash bio-media with tap water.
