🧱 Filter Media Setup (Recommended Order)

  1. Coarse sponge (mechanical)

  2. Fine sponge (basic biological)

🔧 How to Install

  1. Place the top filter on the aquarium cover/glass supports.

  2. Connect the submersible pump (included) inside the tank.

  3. Attach the pump outlet to the top filter inlet.

  4. Fill trays with sponge and additional bio-media as required.

  5. Plug in and switch ON – water will circulate from tank to filter and back.

🧼 Maintenance

  • Rinse sponge every 2 weeks in tank water (not tap water).

  • Clean pump impeller monthly to avoid blockages.

  • Replace filter wool/carbon when saturated.

  • Rinse bio-media occasionally but never replace all at once.
