🧱 Filter Media Setup (Recommended Order)

  1. Coarse sponge (mechanical filtration)

👉 For shrimp tanks, use a sponge pre-filter on the intake.

🔧 How to Install

  1. Hang the filter on the aquarium rim (back or side).

  2. Place the inlet tube inside the water.

  3. Fill the filter chamber with a bit of tank water to aid priming.

  4. Plug in and turn ON – water starts flowing.

  5. Adjust flow to suit tank inhabitants.

🧼 Maintenance

  • Rinse sponge every 2–3 weeks in tank water.

  • Replace carbon cartridge monthly for best performance.

  • Clean inlet tube and impeller to prevent clogs.

  • Never replace all media at once – preserve beneficial bacteria.
