🧱 Filter Media Setup (Recommended Order)

  1. Coarse sponge (mechanical filtration)

  2. Activated carbon cartridge (chemical filtration)

  3. Ceramic rings / bio-balls (biological filtration)

  4. Fine filter wool (optional – for polishing water)

👉 For shrimp tanks, use a sponge pre-filter on the intake to prevent baby shrimp from being sucked in.

🔧 How to Install

  1. Hang the filter on the side or back of the aquarium.

  2. Place the inlet tube inside the tank and adjust its height.

  3. Fill the filter chamber with some tank water to help priming.

  4. Plug in and switch ON – water will begin circulating.

  5. Adjust the flow speed according to tank needs.

🧼 Maintenance

  • Rinse sponge every 2–3 weeks using aquarium water (not tap water).

  • Replace activated carbon every 4–6 weeks.

  • Rinse bio-media occasionally but never replace all at once.

  • Clean the impeller and inlet pipe if water flow reduces.
