🧱 Filter Media Setup (Recommended Order)

  1. Coarse sponge (mechanical)

  2. Fine sponge (basic biological)

  3. Activated carbon (optional – removes odor & discoloration)

  4. Ceramic rings / bio-balls (strong biological filtration)

  5. Fine filter wool (optional – polishing, crystal clear finish)

👉 For shrimp tanks, add a sponge pre-filter on the intake.

🔧 How to Install

  1. Hang the filter on the back/side of the aquarium.

  2. Insert the inlet pipe and ensure surface skimmer is submerged.

  3. Fill the filter chamber with some tank water to aid priming.

  4. Plug in and switch ON – water starts circulating.

  5. Adjust the flow rate as needed.

🧼 Maintenance

  • Clean sponge every 2–3 weeks using tank water (not tap water).

  • Replace sponge when worn out.

  • Rinse bio-media gently if clogged, never replace all at once.

  • Check spray bar, inlet, and surface skimmer for debris.
