🧱 Filter Media Setup (Recommended Order)

  1. Coarse sponge (mechanical)

  2. Fine sponge (basic biological)

  3. Ceramic rings / bio-balls (biological)

  4. Activated carbon (optional – odor/clarity)

  5. Fine filter wool (optional – crystal-clear finish)

👉 For shrimp tanks, add a sponge pre-filter on the skimmer intake.

🔧 How to Install

  1. Hang the filter on the back/side of your aquarium.

  2. Place inlet pipe + skimmer inside water.

  3. Add rain/spray bar (if using).

  4. Fill chamber with tank water (for easy priming).

  5. Plug in and switch ON – adjust flow as needed.

🧼 Maintenance

  • Rinse sponge every 2–3 weeks in tank water.

  • Replace sponge if it wears out.

  • Clean bio-media gently when clogged (never replace all at once).

  • Check skimmer intake & spray bar for dirt buildup.
