🧱 Filter Media Setup (Recommended Order)

  1. Coarse sponge (mechanical filtration)

  2. Fine sponge (biological base)

  3. Ceramic rings / bio-balls (boost biological filtration)

  4. Activated carbon (optional – removes odor/impurities)

  5. Fine filter wool (optional – crystal-clear water)

👉 For shrimp tanks, add a sponge pre-filter on the intake.

🔧 How to Install

  1. Hang the filter on the side/back of the aquarium.

  2. Connect inlet pipe and rain bar outlet.

  3. Fill filter chamber with a little tank water (for easier priming).

  4. Plug in and switch ON – water will start circulating.

  5. Adjust flow to match your fish/tank needs.

🧼 Maintenance

  • Clean sponge every 2–3 weeks in tank water (not tap water).

  • Replace sponge when worn out.

  • Rinse bio-media gently if clogged but never replace all at once.

  • Check spray bar & skimmer regularly for debris.
