🧱 Filter Media Setup (Recommended Order)

  1. Coarse sponge/filter wool (mechanical)

  2. Ceramic rings / bio-balls (biological)

  3. Activated carbon (optional – odor & toxin removal)

  4. Fine filter wool (optional – crystal clear finish)

👉 Add extra ceramic rings if using with cichlid or goldfish tanks for better biological support.

🔧 How to Install

  1. Place the filter box on the top of your aquarium.

  2. Attach the power head and connect the water inlet pipe.

  3. Fill the filter chamber with chosen media.

  4. Add a little tank water to help priming.

  5. Switch ON – water will circulate and return via outlet pipe.

🧼 Maintenance

  • Rinse sponge every 2–3 weeks in tank water.

  • Replace filter wool when dirty/clogged.

  • Clean impeller and motor every 1–2 months.

  • Replace activated carbon every 4–6 weeks if used.

  • Never replace all bio-media at once.
