🧱 Filter Media Setup (Recommended Order)

  1. Sponge (mechanical filtration)

  2. Activated carbon (chemical filtration – removes odor/impurities)

  3. Ceramic rings / bio-balls (biological filtration boost)

  4. Filter wool (optional – crystal-clear polish)

👉 For shrimp tanks, add a sponge pre-filter on the intake.

🔧 How to Install

  1. Hang the filter on the side/back of the tank.

  2. Attach intake pipe with skimmer inside the water.

  3. Fill the filter chamber with tank water to help priming.

  4. Plug in and switch ON.

  5. Adjust flow rate as required.

🧼 Maintenance

  • Rinse sponge every 2–3 weeks in tank water (not tap water).

  • Replace carbon cartridge monthly or as needed.

  • Clean bio-media gently when clogged but don’t replace all at once.

  • Check impeller and skimmer regularly for debris.
