🧱 Filter Media Setup (Recommended Order)

  1. Coarse sponge (mechanical)

  2. Activated carbon cartridge (chemical filtration)

  3. Ceramic rings / bio-balls (biological filtration – optional upgrade)

  4. Fine filter wool (for crystal-clear finish)

👉 For shrimp tanks, add a sponge pre-filter on the intake.

🔧 How to Install

  1. Hang the filter on the aquarium rim (ensure it fits snugly).

  2. Place the intake tube into the water.

  3. Add filter media/cartridges in the chamber.

  4. Fill the filter box with a little tank water to aid priming.

  5. Plug in and switch ON – adjust the flow as needed.

🧼 Maintenance

  • Rinse sponge/cartridge every 2–3 weeks in tank water.

  • Replace activated carbon every 3–4 weeks (if used).

  • Gently rinse ceramic rings/bio-balls when clogged (never all at once).

  • Check impeller and intake tube for dirt or blockages.
