🧱 Filter Media Setup (Recommended Order)

  1. Coarse sponge (mechanical)

  2. Fine sponge / filter wool (extra fine particles)

  3. Activated carbon (optional – removes odor/clarifies water)

🔧 How to Install

  1. Place the RS-388A on top of the aquarium glass.

  2. Connect the inlet pump and pipe inside the aquarium.

  3. Arrange filter media in the tray according to preference.

  4. Fill tray with a little tank water for quick priming.

  5. Plug in – water will be pumped up, filtered, and returned to the tank.

🧼 Maintenance

  • Rinse sponge every 2 weeks in tank water.

  • Replace filter wool when clogged.

  • Clean ceramic/bio-media gently without soap or tap water.

  • Check pump and pipes regularly for debris or blockages.
